Made this super cute card using this suite. I love the Faux Leather Gold Ribbon. However, it's not a ribbon it's like the leather shoestrings you'd find on boots with a gold tint. Technique Tuesday - Stamperatus - Mini Misty

 Unfortunately,  SU had to discontinue their sales of the Stamperatus, due to a dispute but they are working to get it settled.  I will be watching for updates because I'm telling you - you won't want to miss out.  I purchased the Mini Misty for a short-term replacement, and I love it, however there are a couple more things the Stamperatus will allow you to do that you can't do with the Misty. ...  Check out how to use this handy dandy tool to make this card!!!

Well, I kind of failed in the Technique Department Today - so how about a "Fun Fold" card instead!!

 

Technique Tuesday - Floating Strip Technique

 This was so fun to try ...   Floating Strip Technique ..... 

Card Class

 Had a great time on Sunday, with our card class.   The main focus was on some of the new products from our May 2023 Catalog release.  We used the Fresh as Daisy Designer Series Paper,  Cheers to Daisy - Stamp Set, Cheerful Daisy Dies.  Also did a few others using the Naturally Gilded Designer Series Paper and the Dainty Flowers Designer Series Paper. I love how everyone puts their own touch on the cards. I seriously learn something new from the attendees of the class every time .. I love it ... Here are a few pics of the cards we did.  

My class is not the only way you can get these or other cards...

Host a party at your home - I bring all the supplies - only need 5-6 people max. Everyone leaves with at least 5 cards but normally a couple more. 

Do you have a church group looking for arts/craft night?  You don't have to do 5 cards; we could limit it 2 each.

You want the cards but don't have any time to come to a class, or make them yourself... That's no problem either -  Subscription Box may be your answer.

Technique Tuesday - Stampin ' on Vellum

This is such a fun technique. Just remember a few things:  Heat up your heat tool before blowing on your project and don't get to close to the vellum - it will warp and always blow from the back not the front like embossing .

 Triple Stacked Card - Using the Cottage Rose Stamp Set 

I loved how fun and cute this triple stacked card turned out. If you don't know me there are two things about me that Stampin' Up has certainly changed - #1 Flowers - I am not a flower girl - I would never make cards using flowers or my scrapbook pages hardly ever had flowers and #2 - I am learning that Stampin' Up products are so easy to use to make these cards.. I would have looked at this card and said nope not for me lol
