I've said it before, but I'll say it again. I absolutely love the Beautiful Gallery DSP. It's the most beautiful paper. This card is simple but elegant.
August and September just make me think of Sunflowers... I love how this card came together with Floral Impression DSP and the NEW Earthen Toned Metallic Specialty Paper. Don't forget to pull from your other supplies to add some embellishments to complete your cards.

On the 1 3/4-fold - insert into paper trimmer with the 1 3/4 score on the cut line. Cut down 3 1/2 inches Move the paper straight down until your top of card is even with the 2 inch mark- rotate the card to the left until the bottom right corner is on the cutline - then cut it diagonal to the cut line. *WATCH VIDEO* for clarification. Remove excess piece.
I saw something on a similar blog using this framed feature and I knew I needed to try it with the Beautiful Gallery DSP. I love, love, love how this card turned out.
I struggle sometimes putting colors together. Even though the DSP says they belong together, I will question it in my mind. I questioned these colors, but I really do like them together. This is a great fun fold card. Hope you enjoy it!!!

Lay the DSP on the Cardstock - measure down 2 inches on the 5 inch side and put a pencil mark on both the DSP and Cardstock - Put the Cardstock into the trimmer with the 2 inch mark on the trimmer edge and the left corner of the cardstock on the trimmer edge as well DO NOT CUT - run the SCORING BLADE - you should get a diagonal fold. Do the same with the DSP but run the blade so you end up with 2 pieces. Adhere the DSP to the front of the Cardstock.
I used Tear & Tape to adhere the diagonal fold down. You can leave as a flap if you like it that way. Adhere the pocket to the Melon Mambo using Tear & Tape on the bottom and two sides.

Oh my goodness, this fun fold card was not only super easy to make, it turned out so cute. I love the Floral Impression DSP. It has so many coordinating colors to choose from.
I loved making these cards. I was amazed at how easy the fun fold was to do. Listed below are the supplies I used and the sizes. Just remember to use a double-sided DSP and when scoring don't press as hard as you normally would on cardstock. DSP paper is thinner and easier to manipulate.
On the 1 ¼ score place on your cut mark at the bottom
of your cutter.Place the left-hand
corner of the other end at the 1 inch mark. It will be a wonky diagonal.
Then fold & adhere to the white stamped card
front.
This stamp is one of my favorites. I'm always looking for stamp sets I can use for kiddo cards. I decided to do a Valentine Fun Fold with it but - oh my goodness the possibilities are endless.
