Cardstock Price Change

PRICING INCREASE NOTICE

I wanted to give you a heads up - we've all seen it in everything around us but with the New Catalog comes New Pricing.  I personally will be stocking up on my basic colors I always use - White, Black, Very Vanilla - I will continue to keep you updated. 

 

 8-1/2" x 11" cardstock: 

• All single-color cardstock packages will now contain 24 sheets               (including Basic White and Very Vanilla - they currently have 40 per pkg). 

• Assortments will contain 20 sheets. 

• Prices will be $14 USD | $20 CAD for both single-color and assortment packs. 

12" x 12" (30.5 x 30.5 cm) cardstock

: • Our heavyweight, dyed-through cardstock and Basic White Thick Cardstock packages will contain 24 sheets.

 • 12" x 12" (30.5 x 30.5 cm) dyed cardstock will be $22 USD | $30 CAD. 

• 12" x 12" (30.5 x 30.5 cm) Basic White Thick Cardstock will be $26 USD | $36CAD 

 • We’re also expanding our 12" x 12" (30.5 x 30.5 cm) offerings with Two-Tone cardstock available in single-color packages in all colors. 

• We will no longer offer 12" x 12" (30.5 x 30.5 cm) dyed cardstock in assortments but will continue to provide 12" x 12" (30.5 x 30.5 cm) Two-Tone assortments that coordinate with our Designer Series Paper & Sticker Sheets. 

OTHER PRODUCT UPDATES: 

Pricing and configuration for our 12" x 12" (30.5 x 30.5 cm) Two-Tone cardstocks and White Willow 12" x 12" (30.5 x 30.5 cm) Cardstock remain unchanged. In addition to the changes mentioned above, you will notice a handful of other price increases, which are typical in a new catalog.

Recipe Wednesday - Snickerdoodle Pumpkin Bread

 Recipe Wednesday!!!

This recipe was given to me by a friend. I haven't tried it but it sounds amazing!!!

Snickerdoodle Pumpkin Bread

Ingredients

3 cups all-purpose flour

2 tsp baking soda

1 tsp baking powder

1 tsp salt

2 tsp ground cinnamon

1 tsp ground nutmeg

1 tsp ground ginger

1 can pumpkin puree

2 cups granulated sugar

1 cup brown sugar, packed

1 cup vegetable oil

4 large eggs

2 tsp vanilla extract

For the Cinnamon Sugar Topping:

4 tsp granulated sugar

2 tsp ground cinnamon

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees and grease two 9x5 loaf pans.

Mix the Dry Ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger.

Mix the Wet Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the pumpkin puree, granulated sugar, brown sugar, vegetable oil, eggs and vanilla extract. Mix until well blended.

Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients: Gradually add dry mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.

Prepare the Cinnamon Sugar: In a small bowl, mix together the granulated sugar and the ground cinnamon for the topping.

Assemble the Bread: Pour half of the batter into the two prepared loaf pans. Sprinkle half of the cinnamon sugar mixture over the batter. Add the remaining batter on top, followed by the rest of the cinnamon sugar mixture.

Bake for 55-65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Allow the bread to cool in the pans for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Serve: Slice and enjoy this warm, spiced Snickerdoodle Pumpkin Bread!

Yield: 2 loaves.

Stampin' 101 Series - Video #8 - Coloring Basics with Markers

In the past few weeks, we've learned the difference between a line image & bold image stamps. We created a few cards using the SIP Method. (Stamp, Inks, Paper). Today I'm going to show you the difference between the two types of Markers: Stampin' Blends and Stampin' Write. 

• Stampin’ Blends:
• Alcohol-based ink
• Dual tip with a brush and fine tip end
• Buy individual colors and they come in a two pack, a light and a dark shade
• Best for creating depth and dimension in your images by overlapping the light and dark shades

• Stampin’ Write Markers:
• Water-based ink
• Dual tip with a brush and fine tip end
• Buy multi-packs in color groups, one marker per color
• Best for writing, light coloring, and adding color directly to your cling stamps
