This recipe is a favorite salad of my kids & mine. I think I've posted in Fbook before but with Easter around the corner, I thought I'd share it again. I hope you enjoy it. I call it the Pineapple Cream Cheese Salad (how original huh)....
PINEAPPLE CREAM CHEESE SALAD
8ish oz. of Crushed & Drained Pineapple
8 oz Cream Cheese
8 oz Cool Whip
½ Cup Sugar
Mix well
Better when refrigerated for an hour or so before serving
1 Cupish Crushed Pretzels
½ Cup Melted Butter
1/3 Cup Sugar
Crush Pretzels & pour melted butter & sugar mixture over top & mix. Spread mixture
in flat pan & put in oven on 400 degrees for about 5 –8 mins. Do not burn. This puts a caramelized coating on the pretzels.
Take out of oven, put in container to cool. Stir them frequently to
keep pretzels from hardening all together.
Sprinkle pretzels over salad before serving.
